National Ship Design and Engineering Center (NaSDEC) was establish in 2006 as a join Project between Indonesian Ministry of Industry, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), and successor’s of the earlier establish of ship design Office within the Faculty of Marine Technology, ITS, Surabaya.
NaSDEC was inaugurated by Indonesian Ministry of Industry, Mr. Fahmi Idris.
NaSDEC was granted to Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)
NaSDEC was becoming UPT. Pusat Desain dan Rekayasa Kapal Nasional(DRKN) under Badan Pengelolaan dan Pengembangan Usaha (BPPU) ITS
NaSDEC will transform into Science and Techno Park Maritime ITS or Maritime Center
